Won-Lak has many years of experience in corporate banking, project finance, ship finance, construction finance, including the fields of credit analysis, risk management, asset management, M&A and general management.
Won-Lak has been serving as one of the directors for iQ Group since 2008.
He started his banking career in IBK, Korea, mainly in the areas of credit analysis, planning and coordination. He then, moved to UK's Lloyds Bank, Korea Branch where he worked in the areas of credit analysis and marketing for construction finance, ship financing, project finance and commercial lending. He was transferred to Lloyds Bank, Bahrain Branch for the position of Senior Marketing Executive mainly for construction and project finance in the Middle East. He was later promoted to Deputy Country Manager in Lloyds Bank, Korea Branch.
He acted as Deputy Country Manager at ING Bank, Korea Branch and then promoted to Country Manager.
Won-Lak was nominated as Standing Audit Director of Daehan Investment and Trust Co. in 1999, which was the largest fund management company in Korea with total fund size of about $30 Billion. He was one of two standing directors with CEO being members of the Board of Directors composed of 5 directors including 3 non-standing directors.
Served as member of KOSDAQ Committee, which formulates strategy for KOSDAQ and approves listing on KOSDAQ.
Acted as Chairman and CEO of C&V Asset Management Company, 50% owned by Shinhan Bank, Korea.
He was one of 3 co-founders and Chairman of CIC Private Equity mainly handling M&A and fund raising.

Won-Lak actively participated in social activities as Chairman of Yongbong Lions Club and Chairman of Bukak Rotary Club. He was elected as Chairman of Seoul Alumni Association of Business Administration College. He is now one of Vice-Chairmen of Seoul Alumni Association of Chonnam National University. He was Chairman of Yongbong Management Forum and is now Vice Chairman of Yongbong Leaders Forum.
Majored in Economics from Chonnam National University, Korea. He also completed training courses in Manchester University, UK (Advanced Banking Course) and in INSEAD, France (Management in International Banking Course).
He was sent to Harvard Corporate Strategy Course in Singapore, Advanced Strategy Course for Global Economy in Seoul National University, Korea and Advanced Course for Economy in Yonsei University, Korea.
