Lead batteries, at a recycling rate of 99.3 percent, are infinitely recyclable, especially when compared to the less than 5 percent recycling rate of lithium-ion batteries. 15 million tons of CO2 emissions per year would be saved resulting in cleaner air if effective electrolyte mixing was the universal standard for all motor vehicle batteries throughout the world.
