James L. LoPresti is Board Member of several of iQ International subsidiary companies. As Chief Operating Officer, he has overall operations responsibilities for iQ’s portfolio of companies including product development, manufacturing, sales, and distribution.

Jim has over 30 years of business experience including substantial senior operations leadership experience as well as management consulting and process improvement experience. His operational leadership has contributed to the growth and profitability of various companies.

Jim has held numerous senior leadership positions including Chairman/President/CEO of Auto Safety House, Vice President of Terex Business Systems, Senior Vice President of Terex Utilities, General Manager of Terex Concrete Group, Vice President and General Manager of Folio, and Vice President of Operational Excellence at RSC Equipment Rental.

Experience

  • Owner and currently member of the Board of Directors of Sparling Instruments, manufacturer of magnetic and propeller flow meters; and of Apparatus Equipment and Service, fire apparatus equipment manufacturing, sales and service.

  • At RSC Equipment Rental, a $1.5 Billion multi-national provider of equipment rental services, he was responsible for organization-wide process improvement efforts for over 440 locations in the United States and Canada. Jim was selected as a member of a 5-person Integration Management Office responsible for the successful merging of two companies to form $4+ Billion organization.

  • Jim served as Chairman, President and CEO at Auto Safety House, a $50+ Million fleet solutions company, responsible of 5 sites in Arizona, Nevada and Utah, successfully divested an underperforming company, acquired a company, secure a $10 Million credit facility, increased productivity by 23%, reduced safety incidents by 79%, and reduced operating expenses by 43%.

  • Jim had several leadership roles at Terex ($8 Billion multi-national construction equipment company) such as General Manager of Terex’s Concrete Group, with direct P&L responsibility for $150+ Million concrete products business and was responsible for a multi-national group including operations in North America and Europe. In just over a year, he led efforts to increase operating profit by 18%, increase working capital by 45%, and reduce safety incidents by 56%. As Senior VP of Operations at Terex Utilities, Jim had P&L responsibility for USD 250+ Million in manufacturing, sales and service operations. During his tenure, the organization increased operating profit by 31%, reduced inventory by 18%, and dramatically improved safety.
