Shareholders of iQ Power Licensing AG approve reverse merger with its subsidiary, iQ International AG. Listed on the Berlin stock exchange (symbol: iQL) the new parent company is now iQ International AG.
iQ Power Licensing AG announces amalgamation with clean technology company, Engenavis, Inc., based in the USA. iQ Power Licensing AG is the parent company with Engenavis, Inc. as a wholly owned subsidiary. The new company will focus on a strategy to expand manufacturing capacity through acquisition of existing factories and construction of iQ Advanced Battery Factories in major markets around the world.
A major order from the UAE’s taxi authority followed a successful long-term test of car batteries with iQ 360º Electrolyte Mixing Technology. iQ batteries have replaced all brands previously used in this very hot region.
iQ Power Licensing AG develops the ‘Advanced Battery Factory' concept incorporating proprietary production processes using leading edge and future production technologies for battery manufacturing.
Batteries with iQ 360º Mixing Technology gain OEM qualification by a large car manufacturer for new series vehicle production with stop-start engine application. The batteries are manufactured by Brazil’s largest battery manufacturer for Fiat Chrysler vehicles.

The ground-breaking new iQ-2 passive Mixing Technology is awarded patent protection rights by over 25 countries worldwide, representing over 90% of the world starter battery market. Markets covered including Japan, the People’s Republic of China, and Russia.
The first 360º mixing batteries are produced for use in commercial trucks and sold in the North American market. These batteries are manufactured by one the Company’s licensing partners in their South Korean plant.
The “One Million Units Sold” milestone for batteries with the Company’s Electrolyte Mixing technology was reached through sales in North American, Middle East, and Asian markets.

iQ receives first prize of the renowned Automechanika Innovation Award for its innovative ECO starter battery with automatic passive 360º Electrolyte Mixing functionality. The award-winning batteries presented on the Frankfurt trade show prevent acid stratification, the number one cause of premature failure of starter batteries.
This innovation is regarded by Automechanika Frankfurt, as the most significant product improvement within the battery industry over the last half century.
