Brian Blossey

Mr. Blossey is a licensed engineer and the lead design engineer of Engenavis’ HIVE product line, where his ability to take a project from concept to commercial viability has been on display. He brings 17 years’ experience of real-world engineering, beginning as a laborer on commercial construction jobs, developing into an experienced project manager and lead design engineer.

During his career he has been involved a multitude of projects from a design engineer and/or construction management perspective skilled every aspect of the construction process. These projects have been in building and industrial applications. 

During the first part of his career as a design engineer the focus was mainly on building construction projects with the highlight being, serving as a lead project manager/engineer for the design and construction of the world renown MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) in Phoenix. During these years, Brian was able to gain experience in all phases and methods of the project delivery for both public and private clients.

Prior to joining the iQ International team Brian worked in the industrial construction sector with emphasis in mining, water, wastewater, and agricultural facilities with the highlight being, serving as onsite project manager for the restart of BHP Pinto Valley copper mine in Eastern Arizona. During these years, valuable experience and knowledge was gained in material handling, process management, and health, safety, and environmental protocol.  

Mr Blossey’s attention to detail provides a solutions-based problem-solving approach to each project; while at the same time is focused on bringing sustainable technology solutions to fruition.

In addition to his hands-on project management and design experience he has expertise in a wide variety of 2D & 3D computer aided drafting tools and various engineering design software packages.

Mr. Blossey received his BS in Civil Engineering in 2002 from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology and is Certified Welding Inspector.
